Mark's place was lovely: just as pictured. The condo was clean, the beachy decor was fun, the kitchen well appointed and included some treats to welcome you. But the best part was the VIEW. What a great location, right on the beach! Communication was A+. Thanks for a great stay! We definitely hope to stay here again in the future.

What a great view! Floor to ceiling windows and very close to the shoreline. Property was tastefully remodeled with all the right touches. Super clean which we appreciated. Conveniently located for quick trips to dtown Corpus or to Port Aransas. Also close to Padre Island National Seashore if you like birds. We were able to see many firsts such as Sandhill cranes, Peregrine Falcons, Roseate spoonbills, Crested Caracaras to name a few. We will definitely be coming back!

Very clean and our host left goodies (which our daughter really appreciated!) it was a very comfy home away from home for our little family with a gorgeous front row seat for some of the most spectacular suns rises we have seen!! The space is gorgeous! Mark is an attentive host and made sure we had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, breath taking view of the gulf, and the amenities of the pool and hot tub are really nice as well. I would love to visit again and would only stay at on of this hosts listings when visiting Corpus Christi!

The Fivestar Fish Penthouse was everything it is advertised to be. The view was amazing, the condo was clean, and beautifully done. We were there for a work trip, but also felt recharged after spending our evenings on the beach. Definitely recommend!

Do NOT underestimate this hidden gem! Most people will judge the age of the exterior of the facility itself. But once you step through the door to this amazing penthouse, it’s like entering another world!

The whole process was easy. They called to make sure we knew how to get there & how to check in. The place was clean & so comfortable. The view was gorgeous! Loved it!
The elevator on the property is a bit old & slow but we would stay here again. We loved it!

This location was perfect for two single moms and our kids! It was safe, clean, and family-oriented. Our kids got to chatter excitedly and exclaim over the gorgeous view, the sound of the waves, and the seagulls flying above while my friend and I got everyone changed and gathered our things. The beachfront was as close as a quick ride down the elevator and a few steps out the gate! There was even a lifeguard station right in front of the building, which definitely made two single mommas feel much more secure about our children’s safety. And then waking up to the sunrise beaming through the wall of windows and onto our children as they began stirring for the day . . . well, not much could be better than that!

This property was absolutely perfect. We did not want to leave. The condo property is well managed, manicured and very clean. Loved the pool. We spent mornings and evenings on the balcony with a cool breeze after walking the beach. The beach is very clean which was more than expected. The condo is extremely comfortable, well stocked for picking up groceries and staying in and has a desk if you needed to get some work in but hopefully not

Thanks so much Mark! We had such a wonderful time! The house was absolutely gorgeous, super clean, and had a stellar view of the ocean. The snacks were a nice touch that really made you feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back! The only hiccup we had was the elevators were down the majority of our stay which required us to walk up and down six flights of stairs. That may not be an issue for most people but as a person with a disability it was quite the struggle. I am aware that is not the fault of the owner of the unit and an issue with the main complex but wanted to share so others are aware, especially those with mobility issues, that may be an issue. We still strongly recommend this stay and plan to come as soon as possible!

We absolutely loved this stay! I had a few questions prior and Mark was excellent at replying quickly and helping us navigate. I viewed many reviews for couples enjoying their stay, so I wanted to add that we stayed with our children and it was just as great! The facility is SO CLEAN!! Everyone was very nice. The kids enjoyed the pool, beach, and local attractions.

This condo was certainly worth the trip from Duluth, MN!

If you want to experience total relax, peacefulness, and enjoy beauty you need to stay at Mark's rental, the place is upgraded to the smallest detail, is right on the beach, you will enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets just looking at the floor to ceiling windows, and feel the breeze at the balcony, Mark is very welcoming and quick to respond and ensure you have a pleasant stay, look forward to the next trip and stay.

My husband and I were very impressed with how clean the condo was. The decorations were nice and the unit had everything we needed. The view was spectacular! Will definitely stay again next time we come to town!

Can’t beat the location/view. Heated pool was great, direct access to the beach in about six steps, and condo itself was updated and fresh— but the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows alone was worth the price.

With the floor to ceiling windows, you couldn’t escape the beautiful view (but each window/balcony door had very high quality blinds to block the sun or light when you wanted a darker setting for sleeping.. Giving you any option you wanted 🙂 the Full chef kitchen was GREAT, I cooked every meal which was lovely, you will have everything you need at Mark’s Penthouse and I guarantee you will be planning your next trip to return before you leave!

The condo was perfect for our stay! Right on the beach, close to places to eat and an easy drive to many activities. Our kids loved the heated pool! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed.

Fantastic condo. Clean and comfortable. Has everything you need - even a kettle! View is amazing. Communication with Mark was easy. He told us everything we needed to know for check in and check out. We had a great visit.

We had a great stay! The condo was just as the pictures showed! Great view, comfortable bed, loved everything about the room! Mark was great also! He contacted us before our stay to ensure we knew about check in, offered us free early check in if it became available, etc! Would definitely recommend!

I can’t even begin to say enough fabulous things about this rental & the owner. The view is absolutely amazing. The condo itself was clean & beautiful inside. The pool, hot tub etc was fabulous too. We always felt extremely safe & comfortable at the complex & the area. The owner is fantastic with communicating & making sure your stay is wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. It was myself, my husband & our two kids. It worked perfectly for us. We rented a golf cart down the road, had it in the parking lot over night & it was completely safe the entire time. The young man that helped us at check in was so sweet & went out of his way to help us when the gas stations were out of beach parking passes.. Again, I can’t even say enough about how wonderful our stay here was. We stayed at a few different VRBO rentals on our trip throughout Texas & this was by far our best rental!

This location is great for small families wanting to visit the beach. I would also recommend this place to couples wanting a weekend getaway. Communication with Mark was great, and check in was easy.

This condo is ON THE BEACH! Very clean and very well decorated. 5 stars all the way!!

This property was just perfect for what we were looking for! It had the best views of the Gulf we've ever seen - truly right on the water with immediate beach access. Everything looked and felt very clean, which set our minds at ease as soon as we walked in the door. We were greeted with cold water bottles in the fridge and lovely chocolate starfish in the kitchen, which made us feel instantly welcomed and at home. The beds were super comfortable with plenty of pillows and linens, the showers and bathrooms were great, and there was everything we could've needed in the kitchen with plenty of supplies throughout the house. The decor was modern and beachy, and the furniture was comfortable and cozy. We loved all of the technology and the desk area since we did have to work a bit from the beach. I was glad that other reviewers had mentioned that the outside of the complex was older looking or I would have been surprised. But the moment you walk in the door of the condo you feel like you're in a 5-Star hotel room with all the comforts and accommodations of home. We'd definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend! Thank you!

If you want to feel in contact with paradise you need to go to this beautiful penthouse, from the moment you contact Mark, to the moment you open the door you find your self in peace and surrounded by beauty, Mark its very accommodating and will answer all your questions right away. The place has amazing views, its fully renovated and has anything you need to feel at home. Right in front of the beach you will enjoy the ambiance drinking a glass of wine or watching a movie. Definitely will go back.

Amazing stay. My wife and I stayed as our honeymoon, and it could not have been cleaner. The open floor plan allows the home to feel spacious, there was a well stocked kitchen with cookware and dishes. We were very upset about having to leave. We have stayed in several different condos on different beaches and this was by far the best experience yet. Mark was extremely communicative and reached out several times to see if we need anything. Check in and Check out took ~2 minutes each. Amazing experience and we plan on being back yearly.

Absolutely, by far one of the most beautiful places we have stayed! The view from our condo was breathtaking! Condo was spotlessly clean and beautiful. Mark is the nicest person to deal with! He went above and beyond to do everything to make our trip and stay wonderful! We will try to always book our stay at his condos when we come for staycations to the island.

The property was exactly as presented in the VRBO listing. It had everything that we needed. The linens did not disappoint. The kitchen had all of the essentials and then some. The owners pay attention to detail and that makes this property especially nice. We’ll be staying here if Padre is on our agenda in the future.

Great sunrise view, well-furnished, very comfortable beds, and very good interaction with the property manager. Good for COVID distancing with outside entrance door from walkway, via stairs or elevator. Right on the beach with sixth floor sunrise view from inside or balcony.

This sixth floor cute condo is Impeccably clean and modern. And the balcony is amazing. Comfy barstools, holders for for beverages while you watch the beautiful sunrise with coffee or have a glass of wine with an appetizer in the evening. I always spend time researching properties and reviews before I book and I was pleased in every way with our stay here!

From the outside, the condo building looks dated. Inside this particular property, the interior is very modern and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay very much at the five star fish penthouse on North Beach in Corpus Christi. The place was clean, the cabinets were well stocked with dishes etc., And the view is absolutely impeccable. Mark was a splendid host as well. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and an all around great guy!

We normally stay in Port A but decided to give this location a try based on the pictures. We were not disappointed!

Though the overall property is older (like most beachfront in the area), this condo is awesome. What you see is exactly what you get—great decor, well-appointed with everything you need to cook. The beach view is the best around. The property was clean, quiet, and family-friendly, with a nice pool area.

Mark is great to work with and will answer any questions about the property and the general area. He and his wife did a great job on their remodel. We will certainly return!

Very nice condo in an outstanding location!

Great property and location. Mark was a great host and property manager. Really appreciated the little things like extra towels since we were staying a week vs just a couple of days. The shampoo and conditioner available in the bathrooms was a nice, unexpected touch and really benefitted our youngest who forgot his at home.

Very clean interiors. We were initially surprised to see the building outside which looked old but inside the unit it’s very clean looks exactly the way it showed in pictures. Mark was very helpful and gave me a courtesy call to let me know about what’s available in the unit and around the town. Will definitely look to revisit this place on our next vacation.

The place was perfect. I only stayed a short time but we enjoyed it very much. The view was beautiful. You are away from from most of the tourists so it’s not over crowded. This is definitely a great place to stay in North Padre Island. You won’t regret staying here!

This was the perfect place to take in the ocean views as well as being close to town and great restaurants. Mark's place was so clean and adorable and had the most comfortable beds! Looks exactly like the pictures, only the view is EVEN BETTER!

Agreeing with others, this place had no surprises whatsoever. What you see in the pictures is what you really get ! It was really beautiful and waking up to the sunrise with your bed right by the open back wall of windows and sitting right on the beach or the balcony when the sunsets over the beach is So Pretty & Relaxing. Your literally there, down the elevator- out the back condo gates and your on the beach! This place had guest towels at the pool to use along with 6 guest gas grills warmed and ready to use An elevator up & down incase stairs are NOT an option. The kitchen had nicely organized pots, pans, cooking utensils, silverware, plates, cups, salt, pepper, a waffle maker, coffee maker, toaster, a home phone, smart tvs to log on to your account of HULU / NETFLIX or etc if you decided, ice-maker on fridge, microwave & clean fridge! Beds were super comfy! The LED strip of colorful lights above also made it fun! Along with a beautifully painted mural on the wall for photographs. Overall was definitely worth it. Me and My Family very much enjoyed our stay !

The frustrating part about renting vacation condos is that pictures only show the best parts of the stay and you are almost always let down when you arrive. Nothing deceiving about this condo.

We have stayed at many Airbnb's in the last few years and Mark's place has surpassed every one of them! We were looking for a place to escape from the gloom of the Northwest for a few days to a sunny warm beach, and this was just perfect!

This condo is on the top floor of a very well maintained complex, right on the beach! It's hard to adequately describe the breathtaking view! The moment you step inside, you are hit with the view from floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom, which is nothing less than spectacular. The weather was gorgeous, and we spent many hours sitting on the outside balcony soaking in sunshine, warmth and the sights and sounds of the beach.

The condo itself is just perfect! The decor is a wonderful beach theme, but not overdone. It's comfortable, yet elegant. The appliances are new, as is everything in the condo. We lacked for nothing! The beds are comfortable, and our party of 3 appreciated the 2 lovely bathrooms.

Check in was easy with the friendly folks at the front desk, who answered any questions we had. Mark provides a guidebook with lots of information, including suggestions for local restaurants.

Mark, himself, is lovely to work with. He answers messages quickly and was just great to us! We would stay in one of his other places in a heartbeat!

I can't say enough good things about our stay here.... We've escaped this time of year to Hawaii and to So California many times, but this condo and its location was just as good, if not better, than many of those experiences! I'm sure next year it will be high on our list for return. If you are looking for a beachside retreat on Padre Island, stop looking right now and snap this condo up! You will not be disappointed!!
